Do Large Companies hold to post their policies?

I be an member of staff at a company for almost two years and they offered a tuition reimbursement program. After my spring 2007 semester completed I have an out of state intern and be next moving to a place where on earth the company did not own a branch so I be incompetent to verbs my profession near the company. When I tried to obtain reimbursed for my tuition which be a impressive total of $424 I be told that I have to be an moving hand to gain reimbursed per their policy. But they never give me a copy of their policy and when I asked them for a copy they overlooked my quiz. Is their anything I can do? It is a multi-billion dollar company so I know they own the money... Some one please back!

Answers:
Yes. They must hold a published policy. If they are paying for the tuition, they must also read aloud what strings are attached. for instance, in my former company, they'd discharge individual if I completed the course. it must also be one of the approved courses - something that will incorporate plus as an hand of that company. They also stipulated that after the course, I have to be within their employment for a convinced number of years - the time varying depending on the their outlay of money.

The HR department would usually pedal these things. They must also provide you beside a copy on request. Contact the local employment commission, if they do not respond to your request. Keep a broadsheet trail - via recorded/registered letters etc.
almost every tuition reimbursement program I hold see say you must be actively employed. Also, if you be an intern, I would be surprized if you would be eligible as you are largely not considered a full member of staff.
