Are 10% layoffs the industrial norm when a company is suffering financially?

It seem automatic that when a company reports a few base of loss, 10% is the sleight of hand number.

Answers:
Companies own to show some repercussion to financial losses. To do nought will not label bankers and stockholders pleased. Certainly 10% may appear approaching the middle-of-the-road approach. To put a factor similar to that on the supervisors will not backing the company. I enjoy see it verbs an operation because a blanket cut leaves some departments to sturdy and some understaffed.
There is no such point as an industry norm for layoffs.
