Would you consider individual a personal shopper as a job?
Answers: I used to work at a department store that had personal shopper. They had a incredibly loyal clientele base and often get referrals. They were really well brought-up at knowing what styles looked good on different body types and were creative contained by putting outfits together, mixing and matching what was currently surrounded by their clients' wardrobes. Their service as a personal shopper is complimentary and they were rewarded a certain commission percentage based on what their clients purchased. So the better they are at their consultations, the more plausible their clients will purchase.
There are, however, different types of personal shoppers some specialize strictly in men's vs. women's clothing. And although my experience has be in a department store setting, I know someone that had their own business as a personal shopper.
To be a personal shopper, you definately involve to have a clientele base to be successful. But you can start next to family and friends and ask for referrals. It's definately a fun art if you like to shop for others and are good at wardrobing.
Good luck on your work choice!
