Will i bring hired?
so i interview for this job, and now adjectives i have to do is wait for a wage approval. I call and found out that the wage have been approve, but the supervisor that interviewed me is leaving, and he didn't want to hire, anyone untill the new official comes in. he told me that he's definitely interested contained by me, and that he will tell the new commissioner about me, he said he wanted the up to date manager to make the hiring verdict. I found out that the new manager be this lady who had interviewed me a long time ago, I reason like 5 years ago, and didn't hire me. I had a impression that she doesn't like me, cuz after i interviewed with her, and didn't acquire the job, i would go within the store and shop, and everytime she sees me she would avoid me. Personally i don't have a problem near her, but i just have this hunch that she doesn't like me for some reason. I worried that when she see me, that she will remember me, and won't hire me again. I didn't have retail experience before but immediately i do, and alot. HELP ME!
Answers: Well, if it was 5 years ago, I would HOPE this woman isn't obsessive adequate to remember one applicant after so long. 5 years is a long time for someone to get some work experience and a lot of interviewing savvy to boot so, on that, I guess you have a good shot as long as you move about in there and make available it your best and try not to dwell on the past. If she is, for some strange reason, harboring a grudge next to you then maybe it's for the best you don't acquire a job where you'll hold to work under her anyway, no? I know the job flea market is tight these days, but we still have standards =)
Can you meditate of reasons for yourself to be hired? If so, write them down and memorize them. If that effort doesn;'t do it, her prejudice against you remains valid within her mind, and you just have to fault it up to experience and maybe you've learned something. If you could find a book on 'business manners and ettiquette, maybe that would smooth out a rough spot. Good luck with it. If thats where you want to build your profession I wouldn't chance it if theres another location. If she doesn't hire you again because she doesn't like you for anything reason then you may not enjoy any chance however if you got hired at another location you could probably verbs later anyways.
this may still be a problem. maybe in that are more opportunities at different locations. keeps pursuing it if this is where on earth you want to be.
