When putting my resume together? Doorman?
My friend wanst me to help him with his resume, he is graduate in MAy and has worrked as a doorman... how do you include that and the description on a resume? He studied Info. Technology but have very little work experience.

Answers: Any work experience is relevant, especially for a recent graduate. The concept is to present what you learned on the job, and what that brings to any unsullied job. As a doorman, your friend had to work beside the public--that's customer experience. He had to provide security. He probably have to organize a package room or give a hand maintain a ledger showing who was allowed into an apartment (such as a contractor.) This expected he had to be careful and responsible. He be in a position of trust. A doorman has to work on shifts, so showing up prompt is essential.
All these tasks show aspects of a job that become necessary contained by any line of work.
To get an IT profession he of course has to be skilled within IT--that's clear. But a successful stint as a doorman shows he will be a good, reliable employee surrounded by any line of work.
