What crimes do nursing homes look for on surroundings checks?
what crimes do nursing homes look for on background checks? i would be a receptionist if i got the undertaking and my only "crime" was commited when i be 17. over 10 years ago.

Well I work in a Nursing Home I run the Medical Records Dept in that. All Nursing Homes do a state background check basically they check everything from burglary to anything that would involve abuse or even drug charges. Truly minor crimes like a traffic contravention wont hinder your being hired. The object why they do such a thorough check is because they want to avoid the possibility of anyone stealing from or assaulting residents or possibly stealing the meds to take them to get giant or even sell them. But as long as you are upfront and honest about everything they may even considering hiring you despite what charges be brought against you when you were 17 or because you were a minor when the crime be committed, it may not even show up. Well hopefully you will get hired. well best model is always to tell them what they will find afterwards it wont be a surprise and may work in your favor for your honesty
however since it was when you be a minor i doubt they will care
and just what be youu doing in a walmart anyway? dont you know they are the evil? please tell me you stopped shopping at the horridness to be exact called walmart
I doubt they'd even take that into consideration. I come up with they look for bigger things... like stealing from a bank. I'm sure everyone have done something stupid like that.

I work for a nursing home and the biggest item that they look for is Domestic violence, Sexual assault Aggraveted battery and break-in depending on the degree Mostly they want to know if your into Necrophilia.
I think sexual crimes would be the prime ones they screen for!
