Resume Question?

I was a volunteer at a museum for a year and now I am an intern at like museum. How would I list this change of title on a resume keeping surrounded by mind the duties are basically the same.

Answers:    I've have several job changes and roughly I list them like this:

XYZ Company (total date from/to worked)
Position 2 (from/to date for the position)
Duties
Position 1 (from/to date for the position)
Duties

If the duties are like peas in a pod, you could combine them or just explain during an interview. Something like this perchance:

XYZ Company
Volunteer (dates) / Intern (dates)
Duties

Edit: Yeah, that looks good. I like showing the multiple positions as it shows some advancement and increased responsibilities.

Good luck!
Earthgirl,

I would show the date and what the position was, something like this:

Feb. 1, 2006 - Feb 1, 2007: Volunteer at ** Museum
Feb. 2, 2007 - Present: Intern at ** Museum (Elevated at
request of curator)

If surrounded by fact it was a promotion to a remunerated position, state that.

Good luck!

If you started getting paid when you became an intern, you would want to roll your starting pay and ending rate to show that you got a raise. If you never received wage, I would just list yourself as an Intern for the unharmed time. Intern sounds a little better than volunteer.
