New job- cross is different from legalized mark. Infact they set up wrong email address too.. will i be fired?
oaky here is the problem. My legal name is sorta wierd. So i address myself as kat. Assume my actual name is katarina. I am known as kat everywehre, except unmistakably on my papers.
The problem is that my new work email is kat.lastname(a)company.com instead of katarina.lastname(a)company.com
will i be fired for not changing this info?

it is an e-mail picture on the network there are probably a quantity of others there who use a different name later what is on their birth certificate. nicknames and shortened name as well as middle names individual used is common.

no reason to worry nearly it, at your first opportunity ask your supervisor if the account name wants to be changed.

I have a given name and a handle. Kat would be more of an alias. The names are similar and it would be a perfect assumption that this character would be you, right. Anways, you could go to human resources and tell them what happen. I have always be called one name my integral life and it was not my given nickname for sure. So, I slip sometimes doing paperwork, etc. Sometimes I have to change it, other times I hold to let it go. Hey, it be an honest lapse of judgment. You will be find. Just talk to them more or less it and laugh and tell them you touch pretty silly about it. They may even tell you that its more than fine for you to do that. Especially if you step by Kat all the time.
Email alias itself should not mean anything undemocratic unless it is suspected that someone impersonates another one and try to perform something on behalf of other population illegally.
So this seems to be no problem at adjectives.
