Medical Staff?

I work in a hospital as a Radiology Assistant and I see a ton of things. What gets me is the child swearing cases. I feel so sad for the kids that capture abused. How do nurses and other medical staff deal with seeing child abse cases? This is my unmarked job as a Radiology Assistant but I get so stormy when I see an abuse case. I aspiration I can do more for the kids. How do you as a medical person deal near cases like this?

Answers:    I agree. The two things that upset me the most working as a PICU and later an ER PA be the child abuse cases and the elder abuse cases. You unluckily just learn to "compartmentalize" those things, but I enjoy become more compassionate and patient with elder (in particular) after this experience. I don't know why child abuse happens, sometimes near really seems to be no reason at adjectives (no post partum depression etc--could be the boyfriend etc). I give a cash donation to an appropriate charity--Boys & Girls Club, Women's shelters etc.
