Looking for a employment for...?

I am looking for a job for my friend. He has a transcript from about 10 years ago and is having trouble finding employment. He is looking for something somewhat more administrative (and I know it is possible since he has had one before). I be wondering if anyone has any suggetions on how to go around looking for employment. He has been looking for a while and have tried newspappers, online sites and employment agencies. I would LOVE anny suggestions ya'll could give me! Thanks in finance!!

Answers:    He might try some temp to perm type work. Kelly Services and Manpower specialize in these. If his record (which I assume to close-fisted a police record of some kind) isn't in the nouns of administration, then he may be capable of overcome this hurdle, if he has also otherwise lived a clean time. You don't say what he's been doing surrounded by the 10 years since he got his "record", either. Has he be in prison this whole time, purely got out, and is trying to find work? Or if this thing be in his past, a decade ago, how have he been supporting himself all this time? Too heaps details missing to really give some better ideas.

Newspapers, online sites, and irreparable placement employment agencies are a real long shot for anyone to land a charge. The best way is through personal referrals. He should tell to people he knows who are employed at companies where on earth he'd like to work and have them refer him through to the family who do the hiring. Newspapers & online sites, especially, are screening tools, and it's very hard for even the best candidate with no record to find work through those.
I would read out just keep doing what you are doing. The cutback kind of sucks right now so it might be category of hard to get a fitting job. Make sure your firend is reading the applications carefully, because abundantly of times you don't even have to put down that you have a account if it's more than like 5 years old. Good luck to you and your friend! He might try registering near a temp service. Office Team was able to minister to me find employment in the early 90's when we be in recession. Often the temp assignments can become full time after 90 days. Just tell him to bring in sure he calls the temp service to check in at smallest once a week after registering. If you don't call, they forget about you.
