Job objective? Is it worth it?
There is a job fair in the order of an hour and a half away from where i live. Is it worth going to? I hear mixed things more or less job fairs and that they are pointless. What do you guys judge? I know that the economy is weak so population are hiring less. I have a great resume and I am graduate in a couple of weeks and I would really like to find a opportunity soon. My academics/ extra curricular activities are pretty good... do you guess that it would be effective for me?

Job fair are what YOU make of them. Do some research and find out what companies are going to be there, and sooner, what jobs they will be looking for. If there are specific positions that you are interested surrounded by, taylor resumes specifically to the positions thaty they are looking for. Job fairs are great networking opportunity as well. Again, it is what you make of them. Take lots of resumes near you. Dress nice.

it is very helpful. my trainer got a higher opportunity by going to the one nearby. it was contained by another state, but now shes got a dream to come true. a livelihood fair is def worth it, especially if you DONT have a duty or are trying to change your career, it cant hurt.
