Help!! first position interview!?
so i have an interview at a pizza place tomorrow and i'm freaking out. i'm 16 and i've never had a assignment or been on an interview before. i don't know what to wear, or say aloud. why do i want to work there? to make money clearly, but i can't say that! i'm so nervous, please aid!
Answers: wear a tie, and tell them you are looking to dive into the service industry and what better way to do that than pizza, also speak about them how much you like pizza, also do some research on the place and bring it on during the interview like perchance say how they are better than the competition
As it is a pizza place I would say spruce casual attire should suffice. You are only 16 so they would expect that you wouldn't enjoy a lot of experience with interviews or working all the same.
I would approach the interview that you are a hard worker wishing to enter into the workforce. Show you are interested and keen to get a available job and start working.
I think at this age it will not go so much on your experience but more your enthusiasm and commitment to their business.
Make sure you influence you are looking for a long job as one problem this type of business has is staff not turning up for their shifts bring they would rather party or couldn't be bothered. Also the infantile kids usually don't stay long in one employment cause they draw from bored rather quickly. I would address these issues more than why you want to work for a pizza shop as this is probably more what they are looking for.
1) Relax and receive a good night rest.
2) Eat something fine and make sure not to rush your self
3) Be at any interview you go to 5 minutes untimely (not a minute more or less, they notice)
4) Bring a Resume (however simple it might be)
5) They are going to ask you some basic question, (your Strengths, weaknesses (if your tell them a lowliness, be sure to tell them how you are working on fixing it!) any food handling experience you might have and customer service experience you might own. )
Shake hands and be confident (even if you don't feel it) And if the personality interviewing you doesn't shake your hand (because they don't know to do that, you are that much better for it)
ok. So first things first. Wear slacks and a polo. NO JEANS. You can wear tennis shoes, but make sure they are verbs. I wouldn't wear a tie and all of that. Show up between 5-10 minutes early to the interview. Dont show up too untimely, or too late. Answer questions clearly and slowly. Ask what would be expected of you. When they read aloud something that sounds less than desirable you say "I enjoy no problem with that." Tell them you are a hard worker, and believe within earning your dollar. Just be honest and confident. VERY CONFIDENT. In a restaurant you have to be of a mind to do everything, clean cook, answer phones. Be flexible. You should do fine. Dress nice. dont wear jeans and tshirt. Although it's not an office undertaking you still want to look presentable. No matter what the job is remember first indication counts.
You could tell them that you want to learn in the order of making pizza or whatever products they sell and how the company works. And zilch better than learning and making a little bit of money out of it. You want to cram more about customer service and hopefully this would be the first place to teach you that.
Good luck!
First of adjectives.calm down silly.you'll be GREAT! Just tell them that you are really anxious to start working because you are arranged for more responsibility in your life. Tell them that you really soak up being around people and that you conjecture this job will be great to give you customer service experience. Another suggestion, report them that you absolutely love their food and that you are constantly recommending ancestors to go there. They'll love that.
Good luck to you.
Don't verbs. I work in the pizza business. Just show up looking normal. No proboscis rings, tongue rings etc. Have your shirt tucked in, wear a belt, just look verbs cut. If you have long hair tie it up. Be wishing for, I agree with stating a goal that you are working toward. Relax it's individual pizza, we tell our young workers that adjectives the time. Sorry didn't notice if you are male or womanly. i just had my charge interview a couple weeks ago. dress appropriately, i recommend black pants, nice shirt. as for why you want to work there: to gain experience beside costomers and money as well, and to pay for college =)
you'll do fine, don't verbs
good luck!
Explain a goal you own for the money. Going to school, buying a car, etc. Wear nice clothes.
