Faking medical problem?
I want to quit my job and go on holiday mid july if I detail my boss now, he will sack me now and i wont own any cash to go on holiday next to, so i have to hold out to the last moment and go off them in limbo or say im going into hositpal for a month for an operation, as that style my boss will sympathise with me and not sack us straight away.
can ideas for a honourable problem that would be a month in hospital?

If you are found to be falsely claiming medical leave benefits you are liable for prosecution, and dependent on the amount of money it could be a felony.
if you are within the US, no one is hospitalized for a month anymore. Faking sounds like a hugely bad idea. What if you needed a doc's transcribe and release back to work? You would be totally hosed; and if you took sick pay, could possibly be liable for prosecution. If you are quiting to run on holiday--so be it & just do it. Under the FMLA you can take stale to care for a sick reletive (parents, child, sibling)
A position will be held for you upon your return, however, it may not be the same position you have when you left
