Does McDonalds discharge every hour or partly hour?

Does mcdonalds pay your every hour or every half hour?

For example I work 2.5 hours a light of day. Will they pay me for 2.5 hours or for 3 hours work?

Generally, the time increments are smaller quantity than a minute. You'll use a timeclock. And you get paid just for the time that elapsed between when you clocked in, and when you clocked out. 2.5
