Career contained by Science?
So I was just wondering what career are out there in the condition sciences field that don't require many years contained by school. I'm not talking necessarily anything approaching surgeons, or pediatricians or anything; I was heading down that path, but I don't consider I'm willing to spend most of my life contained by school.

A funny thing happened to me on my track to a degree. I graduated from giant school, started college, dropped out to join the Marine Corps, become an officer and pilot, released from active duty with no level, tried to 'make it' on my accomplishments with no degree.go back to school. By the time I finished messing around plenty to meet minimum job recommendation, I had 9 years of college with adequate credits for 2 bachelor degrees and one master's. Sigh. My lesson-learned is that I spent way too much time trying to avoid spending too much time surrounded by school. It is so very tough to not look at the real price you may have to pay cheque to reach your goals.. my approach presently is to understand your real goal and not let the little steps get surrounded by your way. btw, when you immerse yourself within science, you probably will look at research in a much different way. Research is approaching being a gold-prospector. The fun part is finding things...it doesn't become work until you progress to the next step.
