Is GE a virtuous place to work?

I'm a college undergrad who is looking for an internship for summer 2008. In your inference, is GE a appropriate place to intern, and possibly work after graduation? Please provide anecdotal or empirical background to support your belief (any answers not containing relevant notes will be given a "thumbs down").

Answers:
It's a company that profits during military engagements.

However, they do correct work on motors, generator, industrial automation, and coil power contemporaries. If you can work on appropriate programs, I'd recommend it.

For moral and financial reason, I'd avoid the military side of things.
With the cutback and the passageway itis right in a minute, anywhere is a fitting place to work.
