How does one become an executioner?
I be watching a movie call Love Comes to the Executioner (2006) and I become interested in the profession. What is the criteria for becoming one and which states hold the most executions?
Answers:
I ponder it's usually one of the guards at the prison. I've hear stories of ex prison guards have nightmares from human being the executioner.
Not sure how you would jump in the order of it but Texas have the most executions. Good Luck if to be exact what you really want to do.
I would read out that if you're packed up surrounded by the corrections area currently, that you hold around a 0% providence of "becoming an executioner". This would be a position advertise one and only internally if it become available, and even later, as an extension to your other duties.
As someone else said, typically this would probably be the most senior top-security prison officer that would be handling this.
You would start by applying to a penal complex as a custody or detention officer (guard).
