Job of an Assistant treasure?

I requirement to go in the students Astronomical Society as assit. treasurer but i dont enjoy prior accoutings experience (im an engineering student)
So at the interview and at the AGM i want to read aloud why i should be the chosen one!
Please relay me some points to show that im awfully matchless and really deserve the post...
