Looking for some hot "big $" fund-raising concept for Non-Profit Animal shelter.?
I work at the Humane Society contained by my town, and we hold 4 trunk events to tilt funds aside from doing the communication appeals. Two of the four events are much more profitable, and A LOT more work as you would expect.
If you hold impression's that you believe would build a excellent fundraiser. PLEASE share them. I am looking to "step-up" the current rut we are in and bring more folks together and angle some money to expand our shelter.

I volunteer for a local SPCA. There are lots of grant out at hand. A upright fundraiser that take fundamentally little work is street collections. We bring go-ahead from the police, pick our corner (between PetSmart and Petco) on a terrifically busy intersection, enhance paint can to look similar to animals, wear our union's shirts, own some one beside a poster sitting further down from the corner so they know we will be within, and meander up and down basically approaching the rest of the beggers. He also run out the puppy mills operating at the shelter. A lot of animals are getting adopt.

I estimate a fun belief would be to host some type of dog "pageant" where on earth prizes and ribbons would be awarded contained by different quirky category, such as best costume, best talent, most glamorous "hairstyle", canine near the most attitude, dog who looks the most similar to their owner or the most resembling a notoriety, etc..
