Do you dispatch a thank-you make a note of to the HR recruiter (not the hiring manager)?
I just this minute did a phone screening interview (about 15 mins) next to the HR recruiter at a big US firm. She said that she would forward my resume to the hiring supervisor. I also sensed some disbelief (like she think I might not be best for the position) when we hung up.
But anyways, we have spoken in the past via e-mail. Should I dispatch an e-mail aphorism "it be nice to chitchat to you on the phone" and re-iterate my strengths and interests in the position? Or is it best not here for the actual hiring superintendent?

I reflect a short & sweet thank you would be fine, but don't reiterate your strengths because it may produce you look desperate. Also try to put surrounded by something personal, if you knnow anything, or at most minuscule option her/him a apt light of day. But one or two sentances should do it.
