Career beside numbers/money??

I am currently 18 and am origination to look into college. The job I am drawn to are career that crunch numbers and contract next to money. Pressure and deadline are not an issue near me any. I own thought of some career that nouns interesting to me; they include a Personal Financial Adviser or Accountant.

With the personal counsellor, is it concrete or complicated? Is within work out within for me? Should I follow this walkway?

With the accountant, is it rugged? Easy to find work? Take a while for your profession to clutch stale?

I am also looking for other job that are contained by this corral and would really resembling to know what else nearby is out nearby so I can look into it. Thank you for your relief!

I am a CPA employed at a massive public accounting firm and would recommend first that you rob an aptitude examination to determine where on earth your interests pull the wool over your eyes. If you find out you are still interested in a work contained by financial planning or accounting check out these two websites for more information on the subject of professional liscensure (the railing of entry that keep the supply low and constraint elevated = better pay):

I can't speak from experience in connection with the personal teacher but it seem through reviewing the career description that it stresses the necessity of building your own client plinth (ie marketing yourself). I believe most are commission base (compensation base on clients portfolio pro and trading activity). In essence, if you enjoy a significant grating of friends near available funds this is a great route. The job give the impression of being to thrive contained by any geography, but the nouns rate depends largely on your determination to build/maintain a feature client remains.

As far as a career within accounting near really is a broader band of capacity that I believe you could serve within such as audit, import tax, not-for-profit, governmental, fraud, executive, consulting, etc. As far as getting a opportunity accounting is one of the most in-demand majors since I graduate from college (in 2004) largely in piece to the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley legislation. Please see interconnect (3) below for further detail about geography and supply/demand for CPAs accross the US.

In closing, I'd recommend browsing some of the popular assignment boards to look at career descriptions and the skills required to find those positions (in your home town and the town where you plan to attend college). Get invovled in professional organization such as the Accounting or Finance Associations. See if the University have a mentoring program to draw together a financial guide or accounting professional. And don't forget to enjoy fun along the method.

Cheers!
If you approaching numbers and money, why don't you look into mortal a stock bazaar trader, foreign exchange, or treasury.
