Are my work boundaries too strict?
I work next to ethnic group within their homes and I really approaching my mission. In times gone by, I be exposed to really poorly home environments where on earth parents and single adults hold revealed TMI, to the point where on earth it be highly personal and completely improper to involve me. Looking final, I've well-educated what are obedient boundaries. Nowadays, whenever a personage I work beside asks me personal information, I communicate them a generic answer. I obtain asked what I'm doing for the weekend and I freshly influence "oh laundry/going to a movie/errands" and consequently I shift support to conversation give or take a few them or the hobby on paw. My supervisors own adjectives told me I'm immensely professional, but a few culture own complained to them more or less how I appear "mean" and "distant" because I won't divulge details of my personal time. But that isn't any of their business! And also, I probably won't be within for another year and would never see them again or gather round outside of work. Are my boundaries too strict? I've only just academic to be work focused and professional.
