I own a B.S. within Structural Engineering and I loathe my first duty. Should I stick it out or find a different craft?
I chose the chief because I looked-for something confrontational that I modern I could clear money near. I also like physics alot. I approaching the physics aspect of engineering. I didn't really capture along next to my fellow engineering majors though, I found them to be really antisocial. I started my first chore 7 months ago at a really small firm (6 engineers). I detestation it. I similar to the physics aspect, but my boss is everything but offensive, I give the impression of being to do everything incorrectly, I am other making mistakes, and I own a greatly sturdy time concentrating at work. I consistency highly worn out by the finishing of the week. Does it nouns approaching I chose the wrong art or that I am a typical professional experiencing his first work and that I should stick beside it. The tricky chunk is that I am on the obstruction just about whether or not I certainly close to the bits and pieces. Any counsel would be appreciated!!

Structural engineering can be an exciting and interesting corral, but it is not for everyone. Your problem may be that you are working for the wrong company or wrong boss. Don't afford up on the area all the same. You are too unmarked at it. There is abundantly of mixture available within the pen.
I worked within a structural engineering bureau for 12 years, next to 4-5 engineers and a great boss. Most of the work be university buildings, occasionally a hospital, church, or bureau building. But when I be loaned out to another obtain, we worked on dam and bridges. Another department concentrated on pre-stressed concrete structures.
You might try applying for a chore at another firm that may be more suitable. If after a year or two you still don't find it offensive ample you could consider getting more teaching, such as a PhD within physics.
