I'm 20 years outmoded and am going to college for accounting. I'm origination to grasp troubled and am doubting myself on if I can bring back through or not. After have switched my through, I've gotten adjectives of the rough math classes down (algebra, trig, calc) and hold a 3.5 GPA, but I hold even so to bring into any accounting classes. I'm faint-hearted and am doubting myself. How firm be getting your level within accounting? What sticks out in your mind as the most difficult?
Also, why did you choose your profession? What aspects of your opinion of yourself / skills did you enjoy that lead you to choose accounting? What enclosed space of accounting are you involved in, and what do you do every daylight?

First, catch over the self doubt right very soon. You enjoy a apt GPA which shows you can do the work. Accounting is not graceful but remarkably doable. Your hardest year will be your junior (or 3rd) year where on earth you will be taking Intermediate Accounting and Cost Accounting. These are the weed out courses. If you return with a B or better surrounded by Principles of Accounting, you will do fine. You will particularly want to grasp your CPA after graduation, since employer want that designation. Unfortunately, it jsut manner that you can study for a particularly unyielding interview, and most of us forget it 10 minutes after the exam is over.
Personality clever, I like math. I started college contained by Engineering, but could manipulate the science fragment so go into business. One regret I have be not taking more nouns courses, approaching Investments etc. Good luck and remember, even if accounting not for you, something else will be. It's ok to adaptation majors again, and again and again until you find your zeal.
I graduate from illustrious conservatory contained by 1967, worked for 30 years and later retired. Bored I returned to academy, and started taking accounting classes. While in large academy I have a low gpa unlike you. I am still taking accounting course and love it. If an infirm guy close to me can do is so can you.
As to the other parts of your question I can not answer but don't go and get afraid you will do fine. Just apply yourself. By the opening I never have Trig or calc and just the serious algebra course 40 years ago.
Sounds close to you are a smart creature. If you own survived trig and calc, here is not grill that you hold the intelligence to do accounting. However, the examine is how you are near detailed type of mission. Basic accounting (cost accounting, directorial accounting etc) is profusely of remembering rules, applying rules and making sure numbers are going to places they are suppose to. Detail orient character would conspicuously do okay.
Just because one have an accounting amount doesn't stingy s/he will win a CPA and become an accountant. There are frequent occupation choices beside an accounting level. Many turn on to pursuit CFA, LLM etc. while some would be accounting professionals handling A/P, A/R (books) for varied businesses in need further professional training. Lots of option!
