Call or Email my Counter to a Job Offer?

I've lately be offered a position. However, I am going to counter the available job hold out. I've hear that its more professional to telephone than it is to distribute an email countering a living propose.

I'm a much better communicator via written word than I am within voice, and would a bit transport an email to be paid a counter.

My ask to the AddQA.com community is simple:

Should I suck it up and be paid the phone ring even though I will stutter a moment or two bit and nouns smaller number confident, or should i convey the hiring arranger an email beside my counter proposal to the livelihood present?
