I started working at a local animal shelter. Originally, I be thinking that it be with the sole purpose going to be conditional since I recieve GI Bill when in university (so I don't really obligation to work). Now, I love my work and don't want to quit, but figure that it would easier. When give my see they didn't close to it and presently they are practically entreating me to stay. The boss asked me the other time if near be anything she could do to return with me to stay.

My wife seem to ruminate that I should ask for $9.50. I am very soon making $7.15. Even though they really want to hold on to me, I estimate it is totally unrealistic to ask for or expect $9.50 an hour from a non-profit agency. You can ask for it, but be prepared to tramp if they can't come up near the funds you're asking for. That is a problem near non-profits, and you own to weigh the low settle against the pious you do within the community.
I meditate that it is great that you are helping the community, but if you enjoy a college childhood, you should be capable of find a opening that make more than $8.00. I trademark $10.50/hr and I'm still contained by institution.
If you really want to stay though, I would ask for $8.00 to contest the other mission, and consequently move about from here.
