How much should I charge for freelance copy-editing services?
I am simply getting into the world of freelance copy-editing, and I am unsure as to what I should charge. I am two years out of college and I enjoy my BA contained by English. I be the copy-editor for my college weekly, I be a writing/editing intern for a non-profit company's quarterly newsletter, and I currently work as an Editorial Assistant for a medical publisher (there is little editing for me on a day-to-day font, but I did transport a 6-week copy-editing course where I earn I completely honourable score). I hold be editing/proofreading work since big college, when friends would ask that I review their permanent status papers, and so editing is not modern to me.
I know some editors charge a flat rate, and some charge per hour or per page. Any direction on what I should charge, considering that I am untried to freelance and considering my olden experience? All suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

What you charge will depend on exactly what humour of editing you do and how dutiful you are. If you lock in and correct errors surrounded by language rules, syntax, and punctuation, that's probably straightforward copy editing or proofreading.
