I am really sick: Can my work punish me for not finding my own cover and not bringing in a doctor's register?
I've be at this quick food place for 2 yrs. I've be sick for my departed couple days rotten, but tonight I own work. Earlier I call my executive to convey him I be too sick to come surrounded by & he proceeded to furnish me a register of other workforce who be bad today, & said I could appointment them & try to find myself a cover. I said, "I didn't bid for a inventory of name. I'm only letting you know that I'm sick and can't engender it tonight." This is because I (and the friends and familial I've spoken to) ponder it's a guidance responsibility to find my cover and I'm entitled to nickname surrounded by sick if I'm truthfully sick. After I said this to him, he said that I have to bring in a doctors transcribe TODAY, or it would be an unexcused skiving.
I've approved to simply not dance to work because 1) near is no bearing for me to grasp a doctor's appointment that prompt and 2) I perceive I'm human being treated partially.

Nope! Your defense is that you hold no clue what you hold and you could miss it on. I beleive i.e. a rule across the board (see DHA online to be sure DHA is department of strength services).
On the flip side, you can gain top-security prison time for going to work beside a communicable disease...so you can't risk that because of their azzes. I work at UCLA Med center. Email me your info and I'll fax them a record to cover you.
