What is the livelihood of a 'pooper scooper' similar to?

i know this provides the opportunity for lots of fruitless joke, but I would appreciate if someone who have experience working for such a company (someone who go to rich/busy peoples' houses and picks up their dog's waste) could tell a bit in the order of what it's resembling to do this work. it pays better than supermarket work.
