Will I lose laying-off benefits and possible opportunity working for the client?
I worked 2+ years in a life-size PC company close to Dell. My contract is coming up and I'd approaching to pursue something long-lasting beforehand it expires. I haven't gotten word when my closing daytime is. I'm afraid to head off past my contract ends next to the possibility of not anyone considered for undying position beside the client (Dell close to company) and losing severance benefits if the tentative work doesn't work out. My relations can't help out me financially. What do you assume? It's bugging the heck out of me.

If I take your ask correctly, you're asking if you should hang around for your contract to finishing and the possibility of a unbreakable mission working for indistinguishable client OR departure very soon and the possibility of not finding a commission and clearly had it for the client your PC company be contracting beside.
I estimate you should address to the contract administrator, if you hold access to him/her, and can do so lacking upsetting your direct supervisor, and explain that you are interested in continuing to do work for the client, but you aren't sure what the contract wind up will bring near it. (Is the client going to another service provider or does it want to hire contract workers (such as yourself) who are used to next to the project? Is your company going to attempt to renew your contract and possibly assign you to a different project?) Maybe you can find out what direction the client or your company is considering. At the massively lowest, your HR department or executive should be capable of bring up to date you when your contract is up, if you don't own access to that information.
If you can't fashion headway near, it wouldn't hurt to explore opportunity outside of the company. Any livelihood, even if you draw from one near the client, might not work out. Have you checked your state's severance benefits eligibility criteria? Maybe here's a provision for contract workers.
With the ease and experience you enjoy gain, you might know how to work for a similar "Dell-like" company, or clear your own outsourcing business.
It's other difficult to kind craft decision when you're a contract hand kept surrounded by the shade. You might hold to walk next to your guy instincts on this one, because you know how satisfied the client have be, what your plane of contribution to the project is, and how much work near is contained by your enclosed space.
Good luck, and I hope everything works out for you!
There is no drive why you can't apply for any employment past your contract is up. If you capture a employment, consequently afford your two weeks see and start your latest one.
Taking a unmarked opportunity is other a risk, but it sounds close to you don't enjoy a choice if your contract is closing moments. Is it not going to be renewed?
If you merely skulk until the finish off of your contract, you may grasp dismissal benefits. I don't know why you don't simply apply for job immediately, its a safeguard against financial problems.
