I enjoy not, but my roommate have gotten furniture and stuff rotten of craigslist. Actually, that be how we met, as economically -- through a 'roommate required' advert on CL. Many of my friends hold used CL for apartments/roommates, and one bought a coup¨¦ sour at hand. I own also used the 'job' part extensively, and I get a living I have for 12 mos through CL.
I own attempted to buy concert tickets through CL several times, it never worked out but I would try again in the adjectives. One time I did deal in something, but I didn't post -- I responded to an 'item looked-for' personal ad.
All I can update you is, it really depends where on earth you are. CL is I reckon most popular contained by NYC, SF, and Boston -- so if you live surrounded by one of those areas, you would probably hold better luck. Besides which, outside of posting a undertaking vent surrounded by one of those cities, everything on in that is free and with the sole purpose take give or take a few 2 minutes to post, so why not try it?
Craigslist have a huge amount of traffic and it's free to post an classified ad.
I've bought several things and picked up a few free items from craigslist. I've also sold some things and the response to my classified ad be great. I sold a 3 year old mower for 200 bucks! I merely salaried 300 for it brand new.
If you aren't getting a accurate response, include a picture and be paid sure you word the want ad okay.
My experience of craigslist is in Real Estate.
And it drives a startling amount of fraud mail...society asking me to adopt grant via western association, or to adopt certified mound cheque...
When i say aloud upsetting amount of scam mail, i have it in mind approaching 70 to 90% of folks answering my ad are forged.
Having said that their system of hiding your email is rather righteous and encouraging.
